The Short Version
Your travel log is private.
Canadian Travel Tracker is a "Local-First" application. Every trip you log, and every date you enter is stored exclusively on your device. We have no servers, no mandatory cloud sync, and no access to your data.
1. Data Storage
All data is stored locally in the application's sandbox using Apple's native Core Data / SwiftData framework.
Stored in an encrypted local database on your iPhone.
Auto-tracking happens entirely on-device. We never see your coordinates or history.
Names and immigration dates stay in your local app container.
2. Zero Transmission
Canadian Travel Tracker does not transmit your immigration data to any external server. We do not sell, trade, or share your data with IRCC or any third party.
Data only leaves your device when you initiate an export (e.g., Export to CSV) for your own records.
3. Third Party Services
We use standard platform services for App Store analytics and In-App Purchases (Pro features). These are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not use third-party behavioral tracking like Google Analytics.
